EVEN MORE NAMES ADDED!

With under 5 weeks to go until Wide Awake returns to Brockwell Park, we’re dropping a fresh batch of exciting names to our 2024 lineup. This year’s festival is gonna be bigger and better than ever, featuring a selection of the most established leftfield talent around.

Brand new to the announcements include South London’s own electrifying Fat Dog. Their high-octane live shows have caused a stir across the city and garnered them a passionate fan base charmed by frontman Joe Love. They’ll be joined by queer avant-gardist and cult sensation Lynks, who was described as a “horror-drag pop star” by The Guardian.

Also new to the bill are New Orleans DIY heroes Special Interest, whose music truly captures what it feels like to exist in this moment by discussing topics like gentrification and the impending climate apocalypse. Prepare for a whirlwind of surf rock, freak pop, and frantic punk as Texas-based multi-instrumentalists Being Dead create a world of vivid landscapes and wayward cowboys.

We’ll also be joined by the experimental psych quartet Plantoid. Merging progressive rock with jazz, fusion, folk, and even a touch of 70s hard rock, their sound is razor-sharp and unpredictable.

These new names are joining London post-punk figureheads Dry Cleaning, Singaporean experimental artist Yeule, synth-pop icon Johnny Jewel, PC Music star Hannah Diamond, Felt legend Lawrence Hayward brings Mozart Estate to Brockwell, Brighton punks and “Iggy Pop’s new favourite band” Lambrini Girls, Talking Heads dance fest Byrne’s Night, Franco-American glam rockers Faux Real, Australian singer-songwriter Grace Cummings, New Wave revivalists The Itch and Deep Tan, and Boston indie duo Sweeping Promises.

They join headliners King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Slowdive and Mercury Prize winners Young Fathers, as well as recently added UK post-punk favourites Squid, beloved DJs Ben UFO and Helena Hauff, electronic pop legend Alice Glass, Australian rockers C.O.F.F.I.N, and Berlin electronic duo Modeselektor and many more.

With a lineup this stacked, Wide Awake is THE place to kick off your festival season – so grab your tickets now!
